Campgrounds
Campgaw Mountain Reservation is a 1,373-acre wooded park that offers unique opportunities such as archery, disc golf, skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing in a wooded setting. Hiking is available at varying levels of difficulty along designated, marked trails. Campsites are available April-November by permit.

Pets must remain on a leash while on Bergen County property.
Ramapo Valley County Reservation is Bergen County’s largest park area, with over 4,000 acres of woods. Visitors can hike the hills and valleys, enjoy views of the Ramapo River, and camp along Scarlet Oak Pond.

Camp Glen Gray is an overnight campground nestled in the Ramapo Mountains. Open year round, the camp offers a wide selection of cabins, lean-tos, and tent sites. Its large capacity cabins and campsites are particularly attractive for scouts and other youth groups. While camping in the Glen, you can hike trails with scenic overlooks, fish in Lake Vreeland, or simply enjoy nature.
